A rich tradition of quality baked goods
Baker Boys Northwest is a local family owned bakery located in Tacoma, Washington.
The bakery has been in the same location since
1921 and was founded in 1919 and formerly
owned by two generations of greek immigrants named Evangelou. For a short time the front
of the bakery was a grocery store while one of the families lived in the other half. There is even an imprint of a trolley rail on the property where the trolley used to pass by.
Gavin and Cindy Jury purchased the bakery in 1998 and kept the tradition of high quality bread by using the best ingredients and by honoring the rich history of the bakery by keeping the Baker Boys logo.
The logo is based on a picture of one of their Evangelou sons wearing a baker's hat - the inspiration for the baker boys logo.
